So all about me eh? Well as Twitter limits you to such a small ‘bio’ section I’ll expand on things here, but for reference, here it is:
Gamer, programmer, zombie hunter, dreamer, believer and depressive nerd. Tank DK & Disc Priest.
Doesn’t tell you a lot does it? So I’ll elaborate a bit further…
Gamer: Main WoW, however I do own and play a PS3, my games of choice range from Call of Duty 4 to Lemmings and ‘Pixel Junk: Monsters’. Simple things please simple minds an’ all that right? My love of games goes back to my childhood though, my first console was a Sega Mega Drive and Sonic the Hedgehog had me captivated the moment I started playing (I had the curtains, bed-sheet-covers, videos, you name it!). Since then I’ve ‘grown up’ a little, but give me a Sonic game and I’m back to being a child with a grin from ear-to-ear!
Programmer: I’m studying “Internet Computing” within the Computer Science division and faculty at my University (De Montfort University in Leicester, England if anyone’s interested) and as such, it’s a 4 year ’sandwich’ degree. No, there’s no bread-based food stuffs supplied. My degree has a year in Industry ’sandwiched’ between the first 2 years and the final year. Mine was based in Leicester (yay for minimal travelling!) and my position? ‘Junior Software Engineer’ at a Web Development company. I shan’t get into a big long section on how it’s improved my skillset etc, just know it has. I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve had.
Zombie Hunter: not a professional, but zombies are a very real and dangerous threat. Never underestimate the power of the undead rising. I shan’t reveal too much here for fear that an intelligant zombie might come across this blog one day. Just know that when fighting zombies: “blades don’t need reloading”.
Dreamer (this one also relates to believer): I dream, like everyone, I also believe, like everyone. Believing doesn’t mean a religion, or faith in a higher power necessarily. Mostly I believe in people. I shan’t go any further.
Depressive nerd: yeah, I’m part of the ‘prozac generation’ I was on it from January 2009 until August 2009, I came off it not at my doctors suggestion, but because each day I took the pills, they were a reminder that them, along with the depression were controlling my life. Since then I’ve got rid of them and so far: so good!
So that leaves the last part, which is probably why you’re all here (if anyone is here… errm, /wave ?)
Tank DK & Disc Priest: my main ‘Schnoobins‘ is a Night Elf Death Knight. Main-spec is Frost for tanking. My ‘main alt’ is a Draenei Discipline Priest for PvE healing, his name is Milkyjoe (he says hello by the way). I’ll write a post about my WoW history rather than going into it here.
So, enough of this page, get on and read!
